Museo de Cristiano Ronaldo en Hong Kong
Cristiano Ronaldo makes his way to Asia through a museum that reviews his history and global impact, located in Hong Kong. Trophies, historic jerseys, immersive experiences, and even a replica of his childhood room are some of the attractions in a space that blends football, business, and emotional marketing to bring the Portuguese player closer to fans on the continent.
Situated in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong, the museum offers visitors the chance to experience interactive activities through state-of-the-art technology, including photo booths with life-size replicas of the footballer. Additionally, it presents motivational content designed to inspire young people and dreamers to pursue their highest goals.
Tomás Froes, representative of the player's Family Office, emphasized the importance of the project in a press conference: "It's not just a museum, but a cultural space that reflects Cristiano's mentality and his message of overcoming challenges."
The spokesperson highlighted that the city is the ideal place to bring the footballer's legacy to the Asian market due to its energy and global reach, inspiring new generations.
From his beginnings at Madeira to his current stage at Al-Nassr, the museum is part of a strategy to position Hong Kong as the "gateway to Asia." The rooms display CR7's five Ballon d'Or trophies, autographed jerseys, boots, and a replica of his childhood room symbolizing his journey from humble beginnings to the pinnacle of world football.
Furthermore, the audiovisual tour highlights his major achievements at clubs like Sporting de Lisboa, Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus.
Adjacent to the museum, CR7 Life's first branch was inaugurated on the seventh floor of Times Square shopping mall in Causeway Bay district, featuring clothing collections, home goods, and fragrances selected by Ronaldo himself.
The space also includes a Portuguese café offering artisan pastries as a tribute to the player's origins.
The opening has sparked great enthusiasm among fans who are flooding social media with messages of admiration. The exhibition, which includes football simulators and thematic talks, expects to welcome thousands of visitors from China, Japan, and South Korea.
Hong Kong, aiming to establish itself as a cultural and sports hub after years of pandemic restrictions, sees this project as an opportunity to boost tourism and enhance its international image.
